Lawson and Ellington Leaving!!! How Can This Be?!?!?!

One of the hottest stories off of the press now is that the UNC Tarheel’s Wayne Ellington and Ty Lawson will be skipping thier senior year and are heading strait to the NBA Draft. The Tarheels definitely will not be the same without them.

This is a quote that the Sports Network picked up from Wayne Ellington:  

“Winning a championship definitely had a lot to do with it,” Ellington said of his decision. “There’s no better way to go out.”

We can only say that he was correct. Being the best 3-point threat on the team, and winning the 2009 NCAA Tournament makes him and Lawson elligable for a great spot in the NBA.

We wish them the best of luck and hope they have the best career possible for their skills. Goodbye!!! We will miss Ellington and Lawson with great sorrow and woe. But, with our 4 new “award-winning” rookies coming in, we have nothing to lose right?

We will find out soon enough. Until then, none know what the future of the UNC Tarheels will have in store for all of their fans and players…
